Today Mr. Herry teach us how to authorize the finale because our finale is the pirated one. Our task is to write our own composition to finale format. And next meeting we had and assessment on playing our composition by our each instruments.

TERM 2 20/10/2009

Today we sang gundul gundul pacul and I was quite satisfied with the result. I wasn't meet any trouble because I am javanese while some people got trouble with the languange although it's a simple song. I sang it by 2 by 2 and my pair was Banu. We also learned about ledger lines and inversion.

TERM 2 16/10/2009

Today we sing la bamba and gundul gundul pacul. By next meeting we would had assessment on singing gundul gundul pacul and next meeting after that we had assessment again; singing la bamba.

TERM 2 13/10/2009

At this day Mr. Herry teached us how to make 32 bars song. He asked us to make it with the lyrics. I'm quite interested with 32 bars song but not for the lyrics because i think it's hard and it would used time for a while because we have to think before make the lyric.

Today Mr. Herry checked our homework and I didn't do the homework which given by him at that time. And Then Mr.Herry Teached us how to use the finale software.

Today we learned how to composing a simple song. And the fact composing a song wasn't that hard from my estimation. It was quite simple because Mr.Herry told the key of how to compose a song and this is exciting. And Mr . Herry gave us task to make a simple song by my own self.

In this day, we had instrument assessment. Mr. Harry let us to do practice for about 5 minutes in our each instrument classes. I was pretty nervous at first when waiting for my turn. I've perform basic skill such as basic chords (do-re-mi-fa-so-la-si-do) and playing simple song. At first my saxophone wasn't sounds properly but finally it sounds well. I think I was quite good at the assessment and quite satisfied with my performance. But surely i have to practice and improving my skill, still. Then we note down c major notation and Mr.Herry gave us HW about D major

I sang "Berkibarlah benderaku" and "17 Agustus". Mr. Harry told us to make a blog for reflection and in this day I learn how to make a melody

I sang Michael jackson - "Heal the world" and Mr.Harry said very good. I was surprised and pretty glad to hear that because in fact i dont like singing.
